Workspace settings
Workspace settings hold everything that applies across your whole workspace: its details, its people, its features, and the tools it connects to.
Open them from the workspace switcher or by going to Settings. The pages you see depend on your role, your plan, and which features are enabled, so your list may be shorter than the one below.
Project settings live separately, inside each project.
Administration

Developers
| Page | What it does |
|---|---|
| Webhooks | Send events from Plane to external services. |

Both are limited to owners and admins. On self-hosted deployments, an instance administrator can disable access tokens entirely.
Imports and exports
Imports bring work from another tool into your workspace. Each importer is listed on the Imports page and available according to your plan. Import only what your team still needs; old backlogs rarely need to follow you.
Exports produce a file of your project data in CSV, Excel, or JSON. An export covers the projects you have access to, not necessarily every project in the workspace, and past exports remain available to download.
If a settings page is missing
A page you expect might be absent because:
- Your role does not allow it. Billing, webhooks, tokens, and audit logs are limited to owners and admins, and guests cannot open the members page.
- Your plan does not include it. Custom roles, audit logs, group syncing, identity, and several others depend on your plan.
- The feature is switched off. Many pages only appear once the feature is enabled. See Workspace features.
- It does not apply to your deployment. Identity is Plane Cloud only; on self-hosted, authentication is configured for the whole instance.
